Terms of use

Descriptions of goods and services included in the Distinctive Print site are accurate to the best of our knowledge. We do our best to correct errors or omissions as soon as we are aware of them.

You should be aware that the colors and appearances of images may vary from the way they appear on screen. The images and designs used on the Distinctive Print website are the property of Distinctive Print and their respective copyright owners and are used by Distinctive Print with express authorisation.

You must not use, reproduce, modify or distribute our images or any part of those images in any manner.

By sending us your image, you are automatically acknowledging that you are the copyright owner of the image, or have obtained full permission from the copyright owner which permits us to print it in accordance with your order.

We accept no responsibility for items printed without the correct permissions.

Delivery

Once payment is received, your order will be despatched the next working day, but please allow up to 5 working days depending on demand. You will be notified by email once despatched. A signature is required on delivery. Delivery will be Mon to Fri, Sat delivery is available at extra cost, to the address specified on the order.

Any change of delivery address will incur a second delivery charge.

If there is no one to receive the parcel on first delivery a card will be left notifying you of the attempted delivery and giving instructions on how to arrange re-delivery/local collection in accordance with the Royal Mail’s terms and conditions.

Your parcel will then be held for a further 7 days as per Royal Mail’s Terms and Conditions which can be found here, if they are not contacted by you it will be returned to ourselves and re-delivery will be at your expense.

Returns

We hope that you will be completely satisfied with your order.

However, in the unlikely event you need to return goods, please do so within 7 days of receipt with a covering letter and we will investigate the claim, in the case of a reasonable return we will be happy to exchange or issue you with a credit note.

Please wrap the items very carefully in the original packaging and return them to us in a re-sellable condition using insured registered delivery, taking care to retain the receipt.

We cannot accept liability for goods lost or damaged in transit.

We can not accept returned Design it Yourself items unless faulty, in which case we will investigate all claims first.

‘Design It Yourself’ Items

All artworks are provided as a bespoke service to the client on a one to one basis, based on the templates shown on this site.

You, as the customer give the artist responsible full creative title to recreate the said artwork based on your size and style requests to the best of his/her ability.

Due to the bespoke status of these artworks, items that are delivered as described and in good condition may not be returned.

We reserve the right to charge for re-posting returned orders, which have been especially produced to meet your personal requirements.
